Primitive Butter Churn Restoration - I’m Making Butter for You!

In this video I restored a primitive Victorian era butter churn (1820-1914). More about the butter churn restoration: I was the lucky winner of this piece on an auction site. It was fascinating and I firmly believe it was worth the effort because you don’t see something like this every day. I found a few similar models online in relatively good condition and concluded that this butter churn was made and used in the Victorian era. The restoration/remodeling was uneventful, but tedious. Many parts were damaged by water and time, especially the top and bottom of the container. The entire project took almost a month. I cleaned the rusted parts with a 2000-watt laser. It was satisfactory and everything went quickly. Without this laser, I would have had to manually clean the extensive parts, as many would not have fit in the blast cabinet.
