Monday, June 8 -- Seattle PD abandons East Precinct allowing protesters through after 8 tense days.

Accidentally caught on film, protesters were allowed to enter the area the police had blocked in a tense standoff for 8 days. Protesters, proclaiming Our Streets! marched on through the intersection and continued to Madison. Where 11th & Pine had been the epicenter of the protests, it has since moved up to 12th & Pine outside the now abandoned East Precinct building. Protests have been peaceful and very organized since.
