They are being trained under the guidance of experienced instructors for missions in Ukraine. They are given training to juse various types of sniper weapons like the Dragunov rifle to the most modern models like the Orsis, Lobaev, and Urbana. The Russian military has been making extensive use of snipers during the war effort in Ukraine.
