Van Halen - 5150 (LIVE) (SUPERSCALED TO 4K) šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

Like these upscaled videos? Iā€™m not paid to do these but you could maybe please Buy Me A Coffee to show your support for my efforts! Despite the controversy of replacing Roth, the album was their first to top the Billboard 200. It was also Hagarā€™s first #1, as stated by him on the Live Without a Net concert video. The album went to number one on April 26, 1986 and 2x Multi-Platinum on May 28, 1986. A live video created during the tour for this album was released as Live Without a Net, which has since been released on DVD. The tour was a significant change from previous tours. Where Van Halen previously had years of material to work with, even on tour supporting the first album, Hagar was uncomfortable performing a large number of songs from the original lineup. Therefore, most of the bandā€™s back catalog was dropped from the set lists. Instead, the shows consisted of almost the entire 5150 album, a few Hagar solo hits (ā€œI Canā€™t Drive 55ā€œ and ā€œThereā€™s Only One Way to Rockā€œ), and a cover of Led Zeppelinā€™s ā€œRock and Rollā€œ; the band also played a humorous verse of Robert Palmerā€™s ā€œAddicted to Loveā€œ as part of ā€œBest of Both Worlds.ā€œ Of the Roth-era tracks, ā€œYou Really Got Meā€œ, ā€œPanamaā€œ, and ā€œAinā€™t Talkinā€™ ā€™bout Loveā€œ were performed with regularity. Unlike Roth, Hagar was an established guitarist, allowing Eddie to play keyboards on some songs.
