From Lake To Ocean (1932)

A scheme to deepen the St. Lawrence River is detailed. Introductory intertitle reads: “Canada and the United States are jointly interested in a vast scheme to deepen the great St. Lawrence River, and so make possible the sailing of the ocean shipping direct into the Great Lakes.“ Graphic map of the United States / Canadian border. Montreal, Quebec and Boston are shown. Narrator explains where new dams and hydro-electric plants will be located. Narrator explains in detail how farmers and industry will benefit from this scheme. Various shots of the industries featured and of agriculture illustrate his commentary (the shots are not particularly good - generic shots).
