Palestinian girl breaks down over missing bread and everything else

“We’re missing everything. We miss white bread.” Palestinian journalist Mohamed Shahin interviewed a young girl in Gaza, who broke down after he asked her why she was angry. She explained that her father had been killed and that she is missing white bread and everything else in her life. According to the IPC Famine Review, an estimated 90 percent of Palestinians in Gaza, more than two million people, are facing acute food insecurity.
