NVIDIA RTX 4070 Founders Edition GPU Review & Benchmarks

Sponsor: Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste (on Amazon - ) & Hydronaut for water cooling (Amazon - ) The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 has a release date of April 13, 2023 and an MSRP of $600. We’re reviewing the video card today, testing the RTX 4070 GPU with the NVIDIA Founders Edition model. One of the key comparisons currently -- maybe surprisingly -- is actually AMD’s RX 6950 XT, which has plummeted in price over the last year or two. We’re also benchmarking the RTX 4070 vs. the RTX 3070, RTX 2070, and GTX 1070, giving 4 generations of the 70-class. Of course, other test data includes the RTX 4090, 4080, and 4070 Ti vs. the RTX 4070, with comparisons to plenty of 30-series and 6000-series cards. Although the 7900 XT and XTX are in the charts, they are (like the 4080 and 4090) in a different price class.
