Blake Baxter has long been one of the greats of Detroit Techno. While at Movement 2007, we managed to catch him and talk a little about analog vs. digital production. In this third installment, Blake talks a lot about VST plugins versus real hardware. He goes on to talk about the history of electronic dance music, and the reasons why software can sometimes become a crutch.
