A little more info; Whereas my previous video Paper Tiger is quite complex (Midi Mapping madness) this video in comparison is very simple and I hope it will show you guys who are just getting into Ableton how it’s not too difficult to put a little electro performance together- I am using a handful of pre-made Clips accompanied by my left hand on the Bass, Right hand King Korg and also the LPK25 is a vocal sample I am playing- Main Clip Descriptions BLUE- Vocal OOOs GREEN- Rhythmic Vocal OOO to keep me in time (I don’t use a click though you totally can if you want to) ORANGE- Drums TURQUOISE- Another Rhythmic Vocal effect RED- High dreamy pad sound PURPLE- Swell Then I have assigned a Ping Pong delay and a reverb to the vocal sends A and B- these are Midi Mapped to the Akai LPD8 and also I have an Auto Filter and a tap delay Midi Mapped to the Master channel- oohhh and there is also Beat Repeat on the vocal channel which comes in the second verse- Instruments; Arturia Minibrute SE bass synth, King Korg Ableton Push 2 Akai LPD8 Akai LPK 25 UAD APOLLO soundcard Microphone SHURE SM7 I think that’s pretty much it- then it’s just practice loads and shoot!
