Argentinian VP accuses IMF of holding back countrys economy

Argentina’s Vice President Cristina Kirchner has criticized the International Monetary Fund’s economic proposals, saying they are damaging the economy. The country’s dealings with the IMF have been marred by disputes, with Buenos Aires locked in a $57 billion agreement with the organization since 2018, when the former leader signed a deal to help alleviate a long-running crisis.
