Painting a traditional Still Life in oil

This Still Life is painted with oil on canvas. It measures 54x38 cm (ca 21x15 in) and is painted only with pigments of the 17th century. I used flake white, bone black, lead yellow and some umber and ocher colours. The original was painted by the Dutch master Pieter Claesz (1597-1661).
