Russia to build up forces in west to counter NATO threat as Poland to send 2,000 troops to border

Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on Wednesday accused “the collective West“ of “waging a proxy war against Russia“ as it provides support to Ukraine, amid a meeting with Russia’s top military officials in Moscow.
