Mouse plague across New South Wales now reaching ’horrific proportions’

Sky News host Alan Jones says the mouse plague across parts of New South Wales is now reaching “horrific proportions“. “I said last week it was in Western New South Wales, with these mongrel things everywhere, but this is from Toowoomba right down to Victoria, and people are very seriously at mental breaking point,“ Mr Jones said. “Psychologists are now saying the mental health impact of state-wide infestation is comparable to a natural disaster like a bush fire or a flood. “The stress from all this is awful... worse than that, farmers have lost a fortune in prized grain. “There is, literally, economic havoc,“ Mr Jones said. Mr Jones spoke to NSW Farmers Association Vice President Xavier Martin about the issue.
