Russian President Vladimir Putin holds a press conference and will answer questions from ordinary Russians in a televised event. Putin, who confirmed on Friday (December 8) that he would stand for another six-year term, has traditionally held a lengthy press conference and a Q&A session as separate events on an annual basis, but skipped both last year after Russia started what it calls a special military operation in Ukraine.
