What Payday: The Heist Got Right

Payday has a special place in my heart, and after playing the first game I had an epiphany: this game is great and more people should talk about what it did. Maybe I’m just fanboying over the characters, but the original four have this amazing chemistry that was lost over time. The Payday playable characters became this massive tree, each one with backstories, lore, etc, and it became a little much. Add great music and a clear tone and you have a damn fine game. You can pick it up on steam when it’s on sale for like four bucks which I’d totally recommend.
