I Want My Dinner! Little Princess by Tony Ross | Kids Book Read Aloud

#ReadAloud #Storytime #KidsBook #LittlePrincess I remember reading ‘Little Princess’ books as a child. The ‘Little Princess’ is a confident little character, who more often than not gets her own way. As I was reading this book to Hani, I enjoyed how it is very subtle in teaching young child how to say please... and thank you! She laughed along with me & enjoyed the various sounds I was making. We hope you and your children enjoy this story as much as we did! :) I picked up four Little Princess books for £1 each from @poundland! I love going to the Poundland book section as it gives me a chance to refresh my daughters book selection, especially since we can’t pop over to the Library at the moment due to the pandemic. Activity Ideas 1. Create smiley faces with the words ’please’ and ’thankyou’ and pop them up somewhere visible as a reminder 2. Create a junk model monster - using tissue paper, bottle caps & paint! 3. Ask your child to join in with making dinner... something simple & easy 4. Create a bunch of flowers out of tissue paper - Ask your child who will you say thankyou to & give these flowers to? 5. Create a crown & monster mask and role-play the story.
