Down to the Waterline by Dire Straits off their self-titled album from 1978. Wow what can we say...? We love this song. What an incredible flow of energy as the guitar surfs the underlying rhythm of drums and bass with a great story line of lyrics by the incredible Mark Knopfler. Another song that’s right up there with Sultans of Swing and off the same album! Turn it up or listen in headphones please :) Rumpus Machine is a sibling rock band playing live classic rock music and original songs! We are brothers and sisters from Auckland in New Zealand. We like to learn and perform new songs together and play modern music and classic rock songs. We also write our own original songs too and publish to Spotify & Apple Music etc. We like to play live if we can - but also enjoying sharing our music online. We like to learn the new songs and polish them up as much as we can before we decide they’re ready to video and share. It’s gives us something to aim for and it’s also good to have for the future.
