On Second Thought by Viking Cowboy

Eddie Rabbitt cover On Second Thought“ is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Eddie Rabbitt. [1] It was released in November 1989 as the first single from the album Jersey Boy. The song topped both the United States and Canadian country charts for two weeks in 1990. It was the final No. 1 song for Rabbitt,[2] who died from lung cancer in 1998.[3] The song marked a return to traditional country for Rabbitt since his emergence as a crossover success in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It had been described as a “country shuffle.“[4] A re-recorded version of the song was also included on his 1997 album Beatin’ the Odds Eddie Rabbitt Släpptes: 1990 Album: Jersey Boy ------------LYRICS------------- “On Second Thought“ Sometimes a man does things without half thinkin’ And what I saw I did not understand I called you names and said some things that hurt you And in the heat I started walkin’ out that door But on second thought I’ll just turn around in my Tracks And walk back into your arms where I belong I was wrong On second thought I apologize for what I’ve done ’Cause you’re the only one I’ll always be in love with I know it’s not your fault that you’re so pretty And that you turn the head of every man I understand But when I saw you dancing with him I just lost it I started thinkin’ I don’t love you any more But on second thought I’ll just turn around in my tracks And walk back into your arms where I belong I was wrong On second thought I apologize for what I’ve done ’Cause you’re the only one I’ll always be in love with But when I saw you dancing with him I just lost it I started thinkin’ I don’t love you any more But on second thought I’ll just turn around in my tracks And walk back into your arms where I belong I was wrong On second thought I apologize for what I’ve done ’Cause you’re the only one I’ll always be in love with Yes you’re the only one I’ll always be in love with Writer(s): Eddie Rabbitt AZLyrics E Eddie Rabbitt Lyrics album: “Jersey Boy“ (1990)
