September 6-7, 1955. A sorrowful night in the City’s history. The “Kristallnacht of Turkey” took place for political reasons during the Cypriot crisis. 80% of the Greek properties were destroyed, as well as many Armenian and Jewish ones, and the result was 90% of the Orthodox heritage of Constantinople to die that night. In this video, I am paying tribute to the Queen of all cities and empires.
