The Silkmen stormed to the NWCFL Premier Division title yesterday, after they beat Ashton Athletic 4 - 0 at the Stadium. After dominating the first period, Neil Danns opened the scoring with a close-range finish, before James Berry hit a stunning second shortly after the restart. Tom Clare then ended the game as a contest in the 64th minute, before Berry claimed his second goal of the game right on the stroke of full-time.
