How to change your joystick tension spring - easy fightstick DIY!

If your joystick is getting loose and tired, it may only need a new spring to breathe some life back into it. Not all levers utilize springs, but lots of the common ones do (a Sanwa JLF is featured in this vid), and these springs are very easy to replace or simply swap for a different joystick feel. You can go for replacement standard tension force offerings, but there’s also a new color-coded set to help you dial in the perfect feel for you. Note: Once the e-clip is off, the joystick shaft will no longer be held in place and can fall out the top if you’re not holding on to it. It’s not a big deal if it comes out though.
