And his conclusion is that the FBI launched the Crossfire Hurricane investigation on false premises. They didn’t interview people connected before launching the investigation. We’ve just recently learned that the FBI launched its investigations on false premises. We also saw how this was used to appoint Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate then-President Trump. And we even saw how all of this was used for election interference, and for a scheme to try to remove President Trump from office. In other words, what was just watched was a palace coup, in the truest sense of the phrase. Or at least, an attempted palace coup. A coup d’état is a seizure and removal of a government and its power. A place coup is a specific form of coup d’éta that involves an overthrow of a government from the inside. It’s where one faction of the government displaces another faction... The FBI’s acknowledgment of the issues in their investigation has been made public, but their lack of intention to make further changes is concerning. In a recent statement, they stated, “The actions examined by Special Counsel Durham in 2016 and 2017 prompted the current FBI leadership to implement numerous corrective measures, which have been in place for some time now.“ However, the ongoing problems with the FBI remain evident, fueling House Republicans’ determination to investigate allegations of government weaponization. These investigations are likely to have a significant impact on the 2024 elections. In fact, the issue is gaining such momentum that many Republican candidates are advocating for reforming or even shutting down the FBI altogether.
