Full title reads: “Nazeing, Essex. To help to keep our unemployed ’employed!’. First pictures of the Fellowship Holiday Camp, where hundreds of men are happily passing their time whilst waiting for work.“ Nazeing, Essex. A man standing in front of several rows of tents blows a whistle. Men come out of the tents, some are thrown out, along with their bedding. Various shots of the men washing in bowls on open air table. They start to flick water at each other. Shots of the men doing keep fit exercises. Shot of the men swimming in the local canal. Shots of men eating meal at trestle tables under marquee. Some of the men dance, other lay on the grass, while they sing ’Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.“ One of their number plays the piano.
