LIVE: Baltimore bridge collapse

Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge has collapsed into the water after a ship collided with it early on Tuesday morning. READ MORE: At about local time a large container ship, the Singapore-flagged Dali, slammed into one of the pillars of the bridge and caught fire before sinking and causing multiple vehicles to fall into the water below, according to a video posted on Twitter/X. About 20 construction workers and three civilian cars are believed to have fallen into the river when the bridge collapsed, Baltimore County Fire Department reported.
