Dungeon Metal

Had a lot of fun creating and experimenting with some original (albeit rather generic sounding) beats, but for this one, I’m going back to what I consider to be my best approach. Dungeon Synth is an obsession for me. It started with my endeavors into the second installment of the Elder Scrolls franchise, Daggerfall. There isn’t a charm greater than the coming together of old DOS games and high fantasy. As you could imagine, its music only amplified that appreciation. Eventually, I found myself obsessed with pieces of work like “Depressive Silence“ and artists like Mortiis. Naturally, I imagined what it would sound like if metal was fused into the mix, and uh... it’s basically Black Metal, lol. In this piece I wanted to bring together some of my more favored Dungeon Synth pieces and organize it into a saga of sorts.
