Colonel Wilkerson on Ukraine, NATO, Assange and Israel’s war

In this episode of The Source, we talk to Lawrence Wilkerson, retired Army colonel and former chief of staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell, about Ukraine, the Julian Assange case and Gaza. We assess the state of the war in Ukraine after its two-year anniversary on February 24. We also look at why the mainstream media does not commemorate the US invasion of Iraq with the same qualitative and quantitative coverage every year on March 30, an invasion that was not only based on the lie of weapons of mass destruction, but also violated international law and killed 300,000 civilians. We then compare the cases of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, who recently died in mysterious circumstances in a Russian prison. Finally, we examine progress on Israel’s stated goal of eliminating Hamas and the impending Israeli ground invasion of Rafah.
