The Urals Turgoyak | Taganay The Ural Mountains are a mountain range that runs approximately from north to south through western Russia. The mountain range forms part of the conventional boundary between the continents of Europe and Asia. Taganay National Park was established in 1991. Taganay is a group of mountain ridges in the Southern Urals. Turgoyak is a lake in the Urals, near the city of Miass. The water of the lake has great transparency (from 10-20m).
