Massive Ukrainian Ammunition Depot Explodes – Is It Radioactive?
A Russian drone attack on an ammunition depot in the western Ukraine city of Khmelnytski sent up a giant fireball, immediately incinerating what is estimated as hundreds of millions of dollars of military supplies furnished by NATO countries and damaging a number of surrounding buildings. Immediately speculation arose around whether any depleted uranium ammunition had been incinerated and what impact the possible increased radiation might have on the area.
