President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan is on an official visit to Moscow. During the visit, Rahmon is holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two leadersare discussing strategic cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan, as well as regional and global issues. After completing his visit to Moscow, the Tajik president is participating in a Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit, which is set to be held in the Belarusian capital of Minsk on November 23.
