Unusual Caterpillar : Puss Moth / Asp

Thanks to Gentilejedi, you can disregard my request for help below. This is a Puss Moth or Asp Caterpillar, and it is apparently extremely venomous. “When a puss moth caterpillar rubs or is pressed against skin, venomous hairs stick into the skin causing a severe burning sensation and rash.“ ******************************************************** Does anyone know what this is????? I found this caterpillar in my yard, and I’ve never seen anything like it before. It eats oak leaves. I don’t know what kind of moth or butterfly it turns into because it died.
