C/U of a little dog - Mick the Mongrel. L/S of Mick with his front legs on the rung of a ladder. Various shots follow of Mick climbing a ladder. He climbs a very, very long ladder which is propped up against the side of a building - it is quite scary! Narrator tells us that he got the idea from watching firemen at the local fire station. Various shots of firemen watching Mick’s ascent. At the top he climbs on a fireman’s back and is carried back down - scary! He jumps down at the bottom. C/Us of Mick looking very pleased with himself. The firemen charge for demonstrations of Mick’s climbing skills and they have raised over £4000 for “War Weapons Weeks“.
