Turkish Army Received First SANCAK Ground-Based EW System

Turkish Armed Forces received first SANCAK ground-based mobile Electronic Warfare (EW) system. The delivery announced by the head of the Presidency of Defence Industries Prof. İsmail Demir. Mr. Demir stated that EW system will provide important advantages to the armed forces combat units on the field of battle. In recent years Turkey has been developing new generation land based Signal Intelligence (SIGNIT) and EW systems including Aselsan’s KORAL and testing them in real combat conditions.
