Glass Goblets (1953)

Glass Goblets, Wealdstone, Middlesex. C/U Glass blower with bulging cheeks blowing down tube. C/U Glass rounding on the end of the tube. C/U Glass blower removing tube from his mouth. C/U He carries work over to another man and hands it to him. M/S As other man begins to work a boy arrives with a blob of molten glass on the end of a tube. C/U Man shapes molten glass with tweezers and adds it to the previous piece of blown glass (this is to be the base of the goblet) he begins shaping the base with a piece of wood. He places it in a clamping device and returns it to the furnace for further heating. M/S Man (engraver - William Wilson) seated in chair designing E.R. II on goblets. C/U beginning to inscribe the letter R. C/U His face. C/U Finishing off the letter R. and beginning on the crown. C/U Man as he works. C/U Designing the crown. C/U His face.
