John Lewis - Shadow (2007, UK)

The first Christmas advert for John Lewis before they came up with the sickly sweet stories with simplistic covers of well-known songs. This advert features people making art out of things they bought at the shop that strangley didn’t take inspiration from the work of Tim Noble and Sue Webster, who in return disapproved of this campaign. This version contains a smaller reorchestration and a CG robin for good measure. Directed by Michael Gracey at Partizan.
