Gregory Peck Rides the Zipper at Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch

Today in MJ History June 12th 2003 - Michael Jackson’s beloved friend and staunch supporter, legendary film actor Gregory Peck passes away at age 87 at his Los Angeles home, peacefully in his sleep, with his wife of 48 yrs, Veronique, at his side. Gregory Pecks widow Veronique Passani-Peck asked Michael to help organize the funeral and burial services. Church officials estimated that almost 3,000 people attended the funeral. Gregory Peck was one of Hollywood’s most beloved and famous leading men, he starred in over 70 films and had a long successful acting career. He is best known for his role as Atticus Finch in the 1962 film “To Kill a Mockingbird“ which earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor. We fondly remember Gregory Peck and his wife from ’Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies’ that was first aired in April 2003 on Fox television. In the program Michael talks about his love and friendship with Gregory Peck and how Neverland brings out the child in grown men when they come to visit.
