Here’s another clip from The Lost Performance - Live At Taverne De L’olympia, Paris 1970. The band really sings this song. No Lip sync. and this issue was resolved by Mike Pinder a few years ago. The vocals and flute are live. The rest is backing track which is why there is sometimes a double flute. Pinder is sitting at an organ and obviously not a Mellotron. this info was pass on by hostroute.
