Wentian | China Launches 1st Space Station Science Module

Welcome to the very first live stream of Dongfang Hour! 🎤📷🚀 According to the latest NOTAM, China will launch the Wentian Space Laboratory (aka Experimental Module 1) on July 24, 6:20 UTC. The launch will take place at the Wenchang Space Launch Center, using China’s largest rocket, the Long March 5B. I’ll be holding a pre-launch commentary (20-30 mins), giving some context on Wentian and answering your questions. Next, we can watch together the launch, during which I’ll be switching between my own commentary and that of CGTN.
