South Korea: Thousands evacuate from World Scout Jamboree as typhoon nears

Thousands of those taking part in the World Scout Jamboree in Saemangeum were evacuated on Tuesday as a typhoon approached the area. According to the World Organisation of the Scout Movement, the South Korean government confirmed the early departure for all participants due to the expected impact of Typhoon Khanun.
