Joe Hisaishi Symphonic Concert, Music from the Studio Ghibli Films of Hayao Miyazaki

The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will perform the extraordinary scores by Hisaishi, conducted by the composer himself, while montages from the renowned Miyazaki films including Howl’s Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke , My Neighbor Totoro and the Oscar-winning Spirited Away among others, play on a huge screen at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne. As longstanding friends and collaborators, Hisaishi and Miyazaki have worked together for over thirty years, including nine films from renowned production house Studio Ghibli.
