Hundreds of missing people! Japan refuses the US and Chinese aid after the earthquake The United States declared on Friday that they are preparing military logistical support and assistance for regions in Japan affected by the earthquake. Approximately 33,000 people have evacuated their homes, and over 200 individuals are missing as a result of the earthquake. Japan is in talks with the U.S. for emergency aid and is currently rejecting offers of assistance from other countries, including China. According to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, around 54,000 U.S. military personnel are stationed in Japan, hosting the largest overseas U.S. military presence. The U.S. armed forces actively participated in providing disaster relief during the 2011 earthquake. #japan #ishikawa #suzu #hail #southkorea #naturaldisasters #climatechange #weather #earthquake #news #honshu A natural disaster is a major adverse event resulting from natural processes of the Earth; examples include floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, storms, rain, hail, wildfire, waves, wind, snow, weather and other geologic processes.
