When we consider the disgraceful actions of the Israeli state, it becomes evident that they operate in a system of impunity. From the very early days of this slaughter, the diplomatic, economic and military cover provided by the West has unleashed a genocidal war machine intent on ethnically cleansing Gaza and removing its indigenous people, the Palestinians, from their ancestral home. In an act of perverse precision, the Israeli war machine decimated Gaza’s archival buildings – as a symbol of its desire to erase Palestinian history. But what, if anything, can we do about this?
