At what point is a laptop not worth fixing? This Dell Inspiron from 2013 finally had the hard drive fail. I recovered the data but can I recover the computer ? No. Everything on this PC is broken and filthy, and with the tech being 11 years old and needing a new case, keyboard, motherboard, screen, and hard drive, this technology has done it’s job faithfully and is going to be recycled. Will the customers new laptop hold up as well as this one did? No way.
