Horror! Temples are completely flooded! River has overflowed its banks! India

The Shipra River in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district is overflowing due to heavy rains in the district and temples on the bank of the river have been submerged. More than 5 inches of rainfall recorded in city between 5 pm of Friday to 8 am of Saturday. Most of the radial gates of Gambhir reservoir-- the main source of portable water for denizens, were to be opened since heavy inflow of water from Indore district. The current system will continue to release water in the state until Sept. 18, meteorologists said. After this, the new system will be activated. In such a situation, rain may continue in the state till September 24.
