The Black Death! - Painting Soviet Naval Infantry for Bolt Action [How I Paint Things]

Some 350,000 Naval Infantry would contribute to the defense of the Soviet Union during the Second World War, taking part in battles for Odessa, Moscow, Leningrad, Sevastopol, Stalingrad, Novorossiysk and Kerch - wherever their skills and training were needed to shore up defenses both along coastal installations with vital ports, or where the Red Army struggled to throw back the invaders. Throughout the war their equipment would gradually come to more closely resemble Red Army gear, from surplus stocks and what was available at the time, but many would continue to wear their distinctive hats or blue tunics so the Germans would know just who they were facing!
