WTC 7 Collapse - Fixed CBS Cam, NIST “Raw“ Version 1of2 (Enhanced Video)

0:01 - Visible collapse starts with a loud rumble (explosion?), just before the East Penthouse (E-PH) rapidly kinks in and free-falls through building, suggesting a collective collapse of the inner columns 79, 80 and 81. Maybe the second eastern N-S row consisting of core columns 76, 77 and 78 has failed also at nearly same time, like the downward hinging screenwall end on the roof indicates (~0:06). This column row was located right underneath the joint of E-PH and screenwall. There is no indication of a comparably slow “core column by core column“ failure, as stated by NIST and shown in the LS-DYNA global collapse model, created by NIST’s contractor Applied Research Associates (ARA) of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The explosion sound was likely also recorded by at least two other cameras: - MSNBC cameraman of reporter Ashleigh Banfield (West Broadway/Leonard St.): - Amateur videographer David Vanadia at William and Liberty Streets: Northwest view. Ground level. West Street near North Moore Street. Recorded likely by CBS camera operator Steve Bikofsky, as NIST Video List entry suggests for the last section on “CBS-Net NIST Dub #7“ tape, containing a extended version of this video but with clearly edited/manipulated audio track. This NIST version is very overbrightened, heavily washed-out colors and noisy, one can barely recognize the west face. Therefore not raw but manipulated quality. The snippet as shown in the Naudet documentary “9/11“, is the best quality version available so far. But the audio was completely altered there and the frame height was cropped for upscaling to 16:9 display aspect ratio. Video quality has been enhanced by deinterlacing, apply of auto-levels and contrast/brightness filters, dithered resizing and sharpening filters.
