THE COMPLETE GUITAR OF QUEEN - Part 2: Queen II (1974) - Guitar cover album by album

🎤They say the follow up is harder than the debut. As part of my journey through the entire @Queen discography and all of the Brian May solos, here is my take on Queen II 🎶Released in 1974, and Described as “arguably the heaviest Queen album“, Queen II marked the end of the first phase of the band’s album combines a heavy rock sound with art rock and progressive rock elements, and has been called “a pillar of grandiose, assaultive hard rock“ by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 🎸For the distinctive multi layered sounds of the guitar harmonies, I have used a special little amp made by Manuel at DoxyWorld, the Supersonic Doxy. This replicates exactly the tone of the Deacy amp, an unique creation of John Deacon used by Brian May throughout his entire Queen catalogue. The other guitar sounds are replicated with IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube 5.
