#VuosiHiljaisuutta It marks 1 year today since the idea of banning shows over capacity of 500 in Finland. And so it also marks a year for everyone in the music industry for not being able to do their thing. And this effects everyone you’ve seen working at festivals and shows including security, bartenders, construction workers - literally everyone you’ve seen around and the list goes on and on. The reach has been way bigger than you might’ve even thought. . And this is not just a matter of people getting their jobs done, it’s also a mental health issue for the most. This uncetrainity and constantly changing regulations just drain the life out of this whole scene called live music. Constant disappointments, endless cancellations, multiple reschedules, and for the worst - people getting fired and losing their chance to make a living; that’s not the way for this form of art and life to suffer.
