(28 Mar 2022) WILL SMITH AND JADA PINKETT-SMITH, SERENA WILLIAMS, KRISTEN STEWART, PENELOPE CRUZ AND JAVIER BARDEM POSE ON OSCARS CARPET After a toned down event in 2021 due to the pandemic, the stars are out for the 94th Academy Awards with a full-scale red carpet. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Serena Williams, Kristen Stewart, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem all posed for photographers as they arrived at the Dolby Theatre. This red carpet opened an hour earlier than previous years because eight awards, including film editing, sound and production design, are being presented before the show in an effort to keep the telecast to a tight three hours. Those winners’ speeches will be edited down and will air during the Oscars program. Wanda Sykes, Regina King and Amy Schumer are hosting the show.
