Diy vintage turquoise paint technique

Add some impact with turquoise blue paint, stain and a few tricks of the trade! in this video I use the term “white wood“ this doesn’t mean white painted wood, it simply refers to the species of wood such as fir / pine / spruce etc that are white in colour. This effect needs to be completed on bare wood - either a new build piece or a complete stripped down item. You can use the brushing technique over a previously stained item of furniture - however you will need to degloss the existing clearcoat that’s on there by wiping it over with some TSP or Similar. Colours used in this tutorial are Paint: Beautitone Cabinet and Furniture Paint - Blue Bliss (sorry its a Canadian brand :( ) Stain: Minwax Provincial Minwax Red Mahogany or Red Oak Varathane (Rustoleum) Dark Walnut Top coat Helmsman Spa Urethane - Gloss
