Israel ordered more neighbourhoods designated for the attack to be evacuated to prevent civilian casualties. Israeli airstrikes targeting residences have resulted in the death of at least 178 individuals across the Gaza Strip in the initial hours of renewed hostilities after a weeklong truce collapsed.
